G.I. Joe - Rise of Cobra
I can't help but rave soon after seeing this movie. I read many reactions and rants of some people before watching this film, one of them was Daughtry's tweet which was "I just saw G.I.Joe...I want my 118 minutes back!!"last 3:07 PM Aug 7th and there were also many positive comments I've checked also. This gave me a fuss on why are there contrasting opinions moreover it made me curious enough in checking this movie for myself. So here it goes what can I say... It's not so fancy but worth watching. Another show of American Military Power indeed and why do I sense some racism in that movie. I don't count on the similar story not even the characters based on the cartoon itself. I've seen plenty of Hollywood remakes of animated series. "Real American Heroes" is the tag line in the animation but what seems odd in the silver screen is that some Joes doesn't look like Joes. This movie was able to display to its viewers how good the US military force. If those who watched the movie haven't noticed it yet the movie is sufficiently "Racist" in my point of view. I know its in the story but an example is the story of the two ninja assassins; one is a Joe who is a white (although in a black suit) while the other is a Cobra who's an Asian (in the white suit). *Spoiler... Since childhood they have the same master & the white is always favored. In the end they battle for their side but the Asian haplessly didn't put much of a fight. The movie has so many flash from the past. Its a bit annoying. Well it all started from the beginning. The cinema started quite abrasive and hollow but when the CG effects and neat vehicles arrived maybe then I started to enjoy it. It was funny also that Marlon Wayans’ was in the cast cause he reminded me of "White Chicks." Brendan Fraser and Arnold Vosloo from The Mummy did good acting. I can't help but compare Channing from Shia who were both leading character in their respective. Shia in his movie was way better. Sienna Miller vs Megan Fox? I'll go for the Fox definitely. The flow of the movie was obvious. My brother also commented that the Metal Suits that they wear looks like from Halo. I'd totally agree more. I must say it was awesome to see them dodge the missiles. It also looks as if I've seen the Joe's desert headquarter and the Cobra's Arctic fortress in some past films. The ending of the movie was a mystery especially if the President was genuine but there ain't enough charm. No edge-of-the-seat alright...

Just a Test :) My first Blog!! An Intro
HHello & Welcome to my soon-to-be blogging page... I've been doing this for quite some years now... In my quest to be known in the web (hahaha) I eventually checked this website. Its just recent that I've decided to join this Blogger.com which should have been a very long time ago. (so maybe then I could track down my life) I already have several blogs just about anything my crazy mind dictates especially when the time that Friendster got popular. But in this site I'll soon transfer or link my previous blogs and compile it with my future ones. Its time for me to share my life in WWW which other networking sites aren't able to support much. Warning! My life is dearly complicated... LOLZ ;)
